Outotec exhibited and presented at the 4thIIAC 2016 – the Iranian International Aluminum Conference in Tehran, Iran

The 4thIranian International Aluminum Conference 2016 (4th IIAC 2016), a bi-annual conference, was held in Tehran, Iran on May 11th &12th. The conference was organized and hosted by the Iran Aluminum Research Centre at Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) and Iranian Mines and Mineral Industries Development & Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
Outotec participated as a “Gold Sponsor”, had a booth at the exhibition and presented the paper:
“The Processing of Alumino Silicates for the Purpose of Producing Alumina”,
Authored and presented by Dr. Alessio Scarsella.

The presentation received good feedback, and questions, that were discussed in detail at our booth in the exhibition area, on which Outotec & IRANEUROPE were represented.
This year’s conference was well attended with approx.650 people from 200 companies &universities including the major Iranian producers in the alumina, primary smelting, extrusion, rolling and other related downstream aluminum industries, as well as traders and suppliers of equipment and raw materials to these markets.
More than 40 international companies presented their technologies, services and products dedicated to the aluminum and related industries, including Rusal, Danieli, SMS, NFC, Fives Group, NKM Noell and Sermas.
The event offered an excellent forum for us to meet with our existing customers and with potential clients for future business.
